Ingredients
  1. 4 Pomegranates
Instructions
  1. Wash pomegranate well.
  2. Make a small cut around the cap and gently lift off so you don’t damage any of the seeds.
  3. Score the pom in four or five sections from top to bottom.
  4. Gently break the sections apart by twisting carefully, using both hands.
  5. Hold one section at a time in your hand, with the seeds facing your hand.
  6. Hold the pom over a bowl, with palm facing up and fingers slightly spread apart.
  7. Firmly spank the back of the pom with a wooden spoon.
  8. The seeds will then fall between your fingers into the bowl.
  9. Repeat with each section until you’ve released the seeds of all four pomegranates.
  10. Pick out any parts of the membrane that may have fallen into the bowl as they can make the juice bitter.
  11. Now you are ready to send them through your juicer!
Notes
  1. There are many different kinds of juicers. I selected one from a local retail store that was inexpensive and it works great. This is a delicious, fresh juice that will boost your energy as you start your day.
